Stems Cells NOT from Ebryonic Cells

Instead of using embryonic stem cells scientists are reporting successful research involving other cells including cheek cells. Cheek cells come from, you guessed it... cheeks. CNN reported today about findings published in the journal CELL.

"I think this is the future of stem cell research," says Dr. John Gearhart, the biologist who first discovered human fetal embryonic stem cells. "It's absolutely terrific."
