Tooth decay. Somebody call a dentist.

Scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of the surface of a decaying molar tooth. The surface enamel (white) has begun to break down (for example, at lower right). Tooth decay, or dental caries, is caused by bacteria in plaque, a substance that covers the surface of unclean teeth. The bacteria break down sugars in the mouth, releasing an acid that progressively destroys the teeth. This causes pain, discoloration and, eventually, tooth loss. Poor dental hygiene is the main cause of tooth decay. Magnification: x19 at 6.5x7.5 inch size.

TODAY THE GRIZZLY BEAR POPULATION IN THE LOWER FORTY EIGHT STATES NUMBERS ABOUT 1000 REDUCED FROM AN ESTIMATED 50000 TO 100000 BEFORE THE WEST WAS SETTLED. GRIZZLY BEAR HABITAT HAS DWINDLED TO LESS THAN 2% OF WHAT IT ONCE WAS. FRAGMENTED ZONES OF EXISTENCE ARE ALL THAT REMAIN FOR THE GRIZZLY BEAR.

THIS CUB IS IN DANGER BECAUSE ITS MOTHER HAS DISAPPEARED. IT MUST TRY TO SURVIVE WITHOUT HER PROTECTION OR NOURISHMENT. CUBS NORMALLY STAY WITH THEIR SOW FOR UP TO THREE YEARS.

Taking a small dose of aspirin every day has been linked to a reduced risk of cancer. Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) is a drug that has been used for many years as a painkiller. It has an anti-inflammatory action, and is used to relieve various pain and it costs 1 penny per tablet.

It works by helping to prevent blood clots forming in the blood vessels, by stopping cells in the blood known as platelets from sticking together and clogging an artery.

There is considerable evidence suggesting aspirin can reduce the risk of getting or dying from many different types of cancer. Early studies suggested the benefits come from taking high doses of aspirin. But, the latest research suggests even small doses - 75mg - can reduce the risk of cancer when taken for at least five years.

Supposedly aspirin can affect your health in other ways, such as increasing the chances of bleeding from the gut. So they advise you speak with your doctor.
